Asit is the founder of Samaasa. He has 2 decades of experience in hardware technologies, academia, business and non-profits. After more than fifteen years in Silicon Valley in companies of all sizes ranging from big name entities like Apple and Applied Materials and Novellus to startups like MiaSolé, Asit embarked on this journey of disseminating his knowledge and experience to today's technology startups. He has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member in Electrical Engineering at California Polytechnic University

Asit has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Pune. He has led multi-disciplinary engineering projects and teams of all scales and sizes and in several countries. He is a well recognized subject matter expert in 'Design of Experiments' and 'Process Optimization', 'Hardware Product Development', and 'Industrial Data Science'.

Jessica is the Co-founder and Principal of Samaasa. She has 2 decades of industry experience, across Aerospace and e-commerce companies, where she managed multi-million dollar contracts and oversaw the full lifecycle of hardware and software development as a Principal Engineer and Technical Program Manager (TPM), respectively.  She has taken R&D and Proof of Concept designs through launch for global organizations, and has conducted 100's of product demonstrations to enable customer adoption of new services and tools. 

Jessica has a Master of Science in Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Jessica has also completed a certificate in Project and Program Management from the University of California Santa Cruz, and is PMI PMP certified. Jessica has also volunteered her time as board chair for two non-profit organizations.
